Our family purchased a used 16' 7" Boston Whaler in while on vacation in Florida around 1969. I have a lot of photos and stories about it, but it is still around. I have a lot of pictures and information about it and the 1969 Mercury 100 Hp outboard.
Above is what it looked like when it was brought back to Michigan in 1969. The boat was manufactured in 1965 and is hull number 33787.
This photo was take a couple years back in the St. Clair River south of the City of St. Clair, Michigan. My daughter's dog Vita isn't much of a sailor. The engine is the 1969 Mercury 100hp with power trim that replaced the 40hp Evirude that was on it when purchased. I rebuilt it several years ago replacing all the pistons, bearings, reeds and flex plate. Last it didn't have all the power it had a few years ago, so I plan on rebiulding the carbs this season.
